In spite of a couple of misguided individuals, I decided I better clarify what Blaqk News is about. As stated, we are a news blog. We post news about Blaqk Audio. But in the meantime, there won't be any news for a while, being Davey & Jade stated they won't start Blaqk Audio back up until the Crash Love tour is over. So as you can see, my very intelligent passionate writers, Kristin and Laurel, are keeping us entertained and attentive with a few posts outlining things you may have never seen or knew about Blaqk Audio. In response, some of you are getting upset, claiming we are only allowed to post news. So if you rather have our blog dead and dried up for a couple of months, while losing a bunch of readers, so be it. We are just keeping things fresh until we have something new to post about, and as promised we pledge to bring you everything first. Once everything starts up, you will only see news from us.
Oh, and if it makes you happy, I'm going to start tagging posts with "News", "Old News" and "Discussion" to help sort things out. This new sorting feature will appear on the right of the blog.

Aw, I like the randomness of it. lol but I suppose it's better for that to happen once he next album comes out. At least that's not for a while.
I was stating my opinion about something that we were discussing. And, I did so lightly. Granted, I know that you can't always tell someone's 'tone of voice' in writing...But, the reactions have been ridiculous, and extreme. I wasn't being a psycho-fan, or anything...Just stating something that is my opinion, and was pertinent to the discussion.
And, speaking of people of the internet...What does whatever is posted above this, even mean?!...I'm good with internet-acronyms...But, that just looks like gibberish.

Drew Why are you copying everything the HQ does? they made "Channels" and now you made "Sort Posts" WTF?
For fucks sake, they don't own the channels nor the contest nor the trivia. I added the channels (like I said) to help sort out the posts due to people complaining we should only post news; now you can just click the "news" link and see only new news.
Actually KxBurgan, I'm pretty sure I asked Drew if he would label his posts on this site a while back (in one of comments sections) which he said he would do. HQ just started "Channels" this weekend. So I don't think this counts as "copying" them.
Just out of curiosity Kx, for someone who seems to have a problem with everything they do on this site why do you keep coming back?

KxBurgan, any news will be updated on AFI News HQ. The one site for anything related to AFI. :). If there's news, we will post it

Woah a lot of removed comments. You can use whatever blog you want, the only difference is this one is Blaqk Audio centered.
Exactly, Drew. Some people at AFI News HQ are really affected by what they perceive to be unoriginality on your part. I personally don’t mind all of the similarities between the two blogs. Sure, it’s somewhat strange that every time we do something (be it a contest, a weekly feature, or a simple thing like adding labels) it is done here just a couple of days later.
But in the end, what’s the point of fighting about it? Both AFI News HQ and Blaqk News are (hopefully) working toward the same goal, and that is to help the fans keep updated and to promote AFI on the Internet while we’re at it!
I'm not fighting about anything, and I never have intended to. And of course we are working towards the same goal, I just wish you would of stayed with the blog.

Clearly, many of the people, currently, frequenting this site (though complaining aboug doing so), can't see the merit in any of our work...But, we're here to post stuff about Blaqk Audio, and that is what we shall do! ;-)
In regards to this whole "East Coast-West Coast" battle, going on between sites...(Though I am not fuilly briefed on the situation)...It is pretty ridiculous. AFI News HQ is not the only AFI site...and, admittedly, we are not the only Blaqk Audio site. This internet's a big place...And, I think that this, originally, started as a consented off-shoot. If you feel that you are being copied, consider it flattering...It's not like we're covering the same news, if you're talking AFI, and we're talking Blaqk Audio...Frankly, it seems to be over-stepping the bounds, a bit, when looking at your site name, for you to cover Blaqk Audio. So, you really shouldn't act as if it is your territory.
And, as far as organizational tools go...Should our site not be organized, because only you are allowed to categorize?! (It is definitely, not a new concept).
"KxBurgan", you are a plagiarist (of my posts), and a nasty person. Clearly, this does not seem to be the site for you.
I know that people like to let arguments run rampant on the internet...But, the old adage proves appropriate, once again..."If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".
(And, if you can't abide by that, you won't be allowed to say anything at all. This is a site where we post Blaqk Audio stuff for people to read/see...It's primary purpose isn't to act as an area for un-related banter, and fighting.)
