AFI will be doing holding a signing at Zia Records in Tempe, AZ on January 29th. I would never miss out on such an opportunity, so I will be there (probably will also be like 2 hours early). Anyway, my point is I will most likely have the opportunity to ask Davey/Jade a question, and it will be about Blaqk Audio of course. I'm making this post because I want you guys to come up with what that question is for me. Nothing too long and complicated please, something short & sweet yet meaningful is best - my time is limited up there. So please leave your questions in the comments :) The most suggested one will be the winner.

will bright black heaven be a "box set"?
You could ask them who, if anyone they'd like to work with, (as Blaqk Audio).
And/or you could ask them if they might ever perform at an event with/as Blaqk Audio, and AFI.
(You should, also, pass our information along to them, so we might have the opportunity to do an interview. ;-))

Haha that would be kind of pushy, HERE DAVEY COME DO AN INTERVIEW FOR MY BLOG. I know of better ways of contacting them about that :P
That would be so cool if Blaqk Audio & AFI did like a show together.
Kind of going along with the box set question, are they thinking of doing anything special for the release of Bright Black Heaven. Or even better, would they consider releasing it on vinyl? I would love that so much.
I meant an online interview...And, I thought that we were unsure of the best way (a successful way) to contact them, at this point in time. (?!)
They'd probably, like the question/suggestion, about vinyl...And, will probably, be tight-lipped about anything album-released-related (as they would be about the potential of any contests, or things, like those that have been done with AFI)...Not that it would hurt to ask.
And, yeah...It would be Awesome if AFI, Blaqk Audio, and Hunter Revenge, all did a show...And, think of how few people that is...lmao. :-P

I hope they decide to do some kind of contest. I'm not sure if they did one for the last album, but even if they did, it would be lovely if they could do one for this album too. The prize? I dunno, but I bet they could think of something wonderful.
You guys are going to try to interview them during an instore signing? thats not a good idea they are really busy they will probably let you ask one question and move on and from what I hear they dont stay there for long
Not interview, one simple question. Everyone asks them questions at these signings. That's also why I said "short and sweet".
I don't think it would be wise to ask something release-related such as whether it will be on vinyl or whether it will be a boxset. Davey and Jade have no control over that. Interscope Records does, and Interscope probably hasn't even thought of how the album will be released yet.
And what is your "better way" of sending your blog information to them?
Nearly anything is better than trying to make a connection with them at a signing.
We aren't making any connections, just asking a simple question since we have the opportunity..
I found the AFI signing that I went to to be disappointingly impersonal...(and, sans Davey :-S)...But, I still had some nice conversation with Adam, and Hunter (mainly Adam, he was SOOO nice)...Jade seemed kinda off...Maybe, he just wasn't having a good day. Dunno.
But, I do think that the guys have changed, over the years, in how they interact with fans. :-S
